ABB Inverter TRIO-5.8/7.5/8.5-TL-OUTD 5.8 to 8.5 kW

This new generation three-phase inverter for domestic installations, is available in three power ratings: 5.8, 7.5 and 8.5 kW. The compact, transformerless TRIOs are the latest products in the family for their performance, ease of use and installation, monitoring and control.

The topology of the TRIO-20.0/27.6 inverters has been redesigned to ensure that the TRIO-5.8/7.5/8.5 models also enjoy high conversion efficiency across a wide range of input voltages, and the double MPPT gives maximum installation flexibility for an optimal energy production (TRIO-7.5/8.5 models). The new generation inverters can integrate power control, monitoring functionalities, and environmental sensor inputs, all without requiring external components. A compact expansion card gives access to the Ethernet datalogger, which allows parameters to be monitored both locally (with the integrated webserver) or remotely (via Aurora Vision), via a LAN connection.

ABB Inverter PVI-10.0/12.5

Designed for commercial usage, this three-phase inverter is highly unique in its ability to control the performance of the PV panels, especially during periods of variable weather conditions.

This transformerless device has two independent MPPTs and efficiency ratings of up to 97.7%. The wide input voltage range makes the inverter suitable to low power installations with reduced string size. It is available with an optional fully-integrated DC switch, fuse and remote controlled DC disconnect function.

ABB Inverter TRIO-20.0-TL/27.6-TL

The three-phase commercial inverter offers more flexibility and control to installers who have large installations with varying aspects or orientations.

The dual input section containing two independent Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT), allows optimal energy harvesting from two sub-arrays oriented in different directions.

The TRIO features a high speed and precise MPPT algorithm for real power tracking and improved energy harvesting.

NOTE: If installing a PV system using TRIO in North America, please verify that the selected PV module is listed for use in 1000Vdc systems in accordance with local electrical codes.

ABB Inverter PRO-33.0-TL-OUTD

ABB string inverters cost-efficiently convert the direct current (DC) generated by solar modules into high quality three-phase alternating current (AC) that can be fed into the power distribution network (i.e. grid). Designed to meet the needs of the entire supply chain – from system integrators and installers to end users – these transformerless, three-phase inverters are designed for
ecentralized photovoltaic (PV) systems installed in commercial and industrial systems up to megawatt (MW) sizes.

TRIO-TM-50.0/60.0

The TRIO-TM is the latest evolution in ABB’s TRIO technology. Available in different versions, it features three maximum power point trackers (MPPTs) and a wide input range guaranteeing full design and installation flexibility within decentralized commercial and industrial systems.

Modular design

The TRIO-TM comes with separate and configurable AC and DC compartments, which can remain separately wired from the inverter module inside the system.

It also benefits from the most complete wiring box configuration available, including up to 15 DC inputs, AC and DC switches and monitored type II AC and DC surge arresters.

ABB Inverter PVS-100/120-TL

The PVS-100/120-TL is ABB’s cloud connected three-phase string solution for cost efficient decentralized photovoltaic systems for both ground mounted and large commercial applications.

This completely new platform, for extreme high power string inverters with power ratings up to 120 kW, maximizes the ROI for decentralized ground mounted and large rooftop applications. With six MPPT energy harvesting is optimized even in shading situations.

The horizontal and vertical mounting possibility creates flexibility for both ground mounted and rooftop installations. Covers are equipped with hinges and locks that are fast to open and reduce the risk of damaging the chassis and interior components when commissioning and performing maintenance actions.

Cloud connected to ABB Ability, it enables access to advanced monitoring and control features through laptop and mobile devices.
